Altruism is Advanced Selfishness

books

Research suggests altruism doesn’t really exist. These concepts therefore support the  idea of selfish, selfless, synergy or the practice of paneugenesis so everyone and everything benefits.

To me this basic YouTube video does a nice job of summarizing these ideas. If you are interested in learning more at a higher level, I recommend you read,

Support for the Practice of Paneugenesis so Everything Benefits

Paul Piff’s research documents how people are good and want to help others although our society today is pushing otherwise. Practicing paneugenesis, engaging in interactions so everyone and everything benefits, is truly an advanced form of self-interest because we are all connected so by helping others, we help ourselves. The data seems to clearly show that true actions of self-interest help everyone and everything benefit, or the selfish, selfless, synergistic practice of paneugenesis. As this presentation shows, doing things otherwise hurts us all. Enjoy this presentation and share your thoughts. I also loaded a presentation about the selfish, selfless, synergistic practice of paneugenesis…

Seeing The Future – What Creates Tomorrow?

In the interesting TEDx presentation by Ford Futurist Sheryl Connelly, she explains that if we are watching things that continually change it gets confusing. What creates health, has not and will not change. Health is created by physical activity, health promoting food, fulfilling relationships, and personal growth – that is constant and by engaging in those actions – we can create a better future.

In other words, the aim for all of us to create a better tomorrow should be to create interactions so everyone and everything benefits – in other words we should have selfish, selfless, synergy  with the Practice of Paneugenesis.

Parallel NOT Linear Means Create Positive AND Prevent Negative

I just finished Jane Benyus’s book, Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature. It is an amazing book that provides many ways to find answers in nature. A great answer I learned is how nature does multiple things at once, it does not work in a linear fashion as we often do. All our cells work to create solutions simultaneously to improve the whole. Nature, which we are, means we should be developing solutions that enable more life. With that in mind, we need to think about creating Positive Health AND Prevention, which  happens as we create better health.

Biomimicry 3.8 is an amazing website with a large amount of helpful information I encourage you to explore. To help you get started, below is one of Jane Benyus’s TED Talks. Enjoy and remember start now creating interactions so everyone and everything benefits.
