Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax is an amazingly forward thinking book. It was written in 1971. With he passing of the GOP tax bill, this book becomes even more relevant. I encourage all to take 15 minutes to read, or watch the 25 minute video, below. In my view, this book has an important and extremely timely message to share.
Here is the video of the Lorax:
Dr. Seuss leaves us with this advice:
“…Plant a new Truffula. Treat it with care.
Give it clean water. And feed it fresh air.
Grow a forest. Protect it from axes that hack.
Then the Lorax and all his friends may come back.”
Mr. Onceler has the same message Ray Anderson, the late founder of Interface Carpets shared in his TED Talk and suggesting he should go to jail for what he was doing:
Do good to Make Good so you Make it a Great Week!
